Waterways Concept design presentations

On the past weekend artists made their presentations to the PAAG Panel composed of  Beata Batorowicz, Sandy Pottinger, Ingrid Steinhardt
Arts Council Toowoomba relates this quote from the PAAG:
The Panel was impressed with the overall presentations. The time, effort, and careful consideration given to the content and its presentation made for a lively, rewarding, and informative morning.

The Panel was particularly pleased to see evidence of applied research in the detailed descriptions of the attachment and tethering devices for the art objects. The demonstrations using maquettes in the majority of submissions gave a useful insight into the designs and their eventual finish and function.  Concern for the environment, the maintenance of the waterways, and the attention to safety and to risk management strategies were particularly reassuring. ‘
