The Regional Arts Australian Conference, where this award was presented to Jennifer, was held at Goolwa near Adelaide.
The town of Goolwa is at the mouth of the Murray River and the venue was close to the controversial Hindmarsh Island bridge.
The indigenous people of the Ngarrindjeri Nation gave the conference the name Kumuwuki which means Big Wave. See the website at http://www.kumuwuki.org.au/ for more information.
